Wild and unexpected color combos

Wild color palettes for your wedding

For you lovely brides who are looking to give your wedding an extra kick of color, we've rounded up some wild color combinations for your big day that are unexpectedly divine!

Zesty tangerine and the kick of wasabi
One dazzling and unique color combination idea comes from The Knot. They tell us that while traditional color palettes like black and white, blue and silver or purple and gold are those go-to color combinations that many a bride flocks to, they are not your only options! A exceptional and bold combination like tangerine and wasabi is perfect to give a fresh feeling to your ceremony. A modern and funky choice like this is perfect for a downtown exposed-brick venue or an all-white loft.

For this color palette, you could consider putting bridesmaids in spunky wasabi green gowns that are cropped above the knee for that extra pop of fun you are looking to give to your event. Then, you can add in accents of tangerine orange with bridesmaids bouquets made of Alstroemeria, which are available year round!

Luscious strawberry and refreshing lime
These bold color choices bounce beautifully off each other and these colors will be easy to come by for your wedding floral selections. These colors channel summertime gardens but can be perfect to add a fresh flair to a ceremony that takes place anytime of the year.

These colors can easily be incorporated into all parts of your wedding, from the cocktails to the wedding cake. For that extra bold look for your reception tables, considering using show-stopping, rich strawberry for your table linens and accent the table with lime green blooms or other greenery such as Italian Ruscus or lily grass.

Romantic cherry and soft brown
Another wild color combination that takes a classic and puts a little spin on it is cherry and mocha. Deep reds have long been a classic wedding color selection because they exude love and romance. By tying in mocha, you can soften your wedding colors and shake things up a bit.

A great way to tie these two colors together for your groomsmen, is to pair a classic deep red rose boutonniere with a chocolate brown necktie. For your wedding cake, take a modern approach and go with a display of red velvet cupcakes!
