Classy wedding color combinations for your big day

Orange and pink flowers make for a great summer wedding bouquet!

Some brides immediately know what colors they want to incorporate throughout their wedding design, while others have a really difficult time pairing complementary colors together. Lucky for you, we've compiled a list of classic, modern, and funky wedding flower combinations you and your groom can use throughout the entire decoration process. Here are some of our favorite color combinations:

– Green and cream: This is a great, neutral color combination that can be used year-round. These colors combined are especially great for creating a rustic, woodsy feel for couples who love to spend time outdoors. Green button mums are great for spring and can be used to create ball centerpieces. We love a cream rose with a few leaves for the groomsmen boutonnieres. For the bridal bouquet, try a combination of cream roses, green italian ruscus, and large, white calla lilies.

– Orange and pink: Try this color combination for a warm, summer wedding. The bright, bold colors make for a standout color combination sure to catch the eyes of your guests. Pink peonies and orange ranunculus' make for a luscious, blooming bouquet for late spring and early summer weddings. Orange pin cushion protea and pink lisianthus create quirky and fun summer flower arrangements for reception tables.

– Purple and blue: Combining cool hues of purples and blues makes for an elegant color palette any time of the year. Mix and match both colors for a soft, supple wedding bouquet. The combination is perfect for couples because it incorporates both masculine and feminine colors so the overall scheme isn't too girly. Pair deep blue delphiniums, light blue hydrangeas, purple lilac and purple allium buds to create a gorgeous, garden-inspired bouquet.

– Wine and blush: Blush is a huge color trend right now, especially in the fashion world. This color combination between light and dark is great for transitional seasons such as fall and spring. It's a great way to juxtapose masculine and feminine as well. We love the idea of alternating these colors on table centerpieces. For the bouquet, we recommend combining the two colors – try light pink alstroemerias, with deep red chrysanthemums. Another cool flower combination includes red hypericum berries, dark red roses and mini, light pink calla lilies.
